The Pawn Shop on History Channel’s Pawn Stars

The pawn shop Las Vegas on the History channel show Pawn Stars is open to the public, but don’t expect to find items from the show hanging on the walls. The Gold and Silver Pawn Shop is a family-run business that three generations of men (Rick, Corey and Chumlee Harrison) have been running since 1988. The shop has become a destination thanks to the popular cable TV show, and it’s not uncommon for lines to form outside of the store.

Located downtown at 713 Las Vegas Blvd, the pawn shop is easy to find, but you’ll probably have to park and wait in line to enter. The line can get really long, so it’s best to arrive early if you want to be on your way. The shop is small, but they do have a large gift shop that has the full range of Pawn Stars-branded merchandise.

Buy and Sell Quality Items at a Trusted Las Vegas Pawn Shop

Most sellers come in with no idea what the item is worth, and Rick and his crew are quick to take advantage of this. He has admitted to rolling his eyes at experts that reveal the true price of certain rare items to sellers. When a seller comes in expecting retail, the pawn shop usually offers less than that and then reminds them they have to make a profit.

Some of the better deals on Pawn Stars have included the infamous white Bronco from O.J. Simpson’s police chase and a 1554 Spanish gold bar that was salvaged from a shipwreck centuries ago. If you’re interested in meeting some of the stars, they can be found bartending at Rick’s Rolling Smoke BBQ and Tavern and at Chumlee’s Candy Shop next door.
